Example 1. When quoting from an electronic book where there are no page numbers but locations.

Please note: If you were paying careful attention, you may have noticed that the first sentence should have been included in the quotation, as illustrated on p. 3 of the whole paper: https://plagiarism.iu.edu/screencasts/EmotionsAndLearning.pdf. This was an inadvertent oversight in the video, while trying to keep it simple here. The sentence should have been written: Greenspan and Shanker (2004) claim that “emotions ... can organize and give meaning to experience.  They can, therefore, serve as the architect or orchestra leader for the mind's many functions” (location 658).

Example 2. When quoting from a printed book where there are page numbers.
